It is a special day at RSVP Events when amazing friends decide to do a destination wedding, and they choose us to help put it all together. Nick and Erin came to us nearly a year before their wedding. We sat down together, they told us their ideas for the perfect destination, and we went to work to find exactly what they wanted — beautiful beach, adult only atmosphere, great food, and an intimate setting for their wedding. Secrets Maroma was the obvious choice!
We helped with their save the dates, introduced Erin to the onsite wedding coordinator at Secrets Maroma, and then we took the reigns for the guests traveling, while Nick and Erin focused on the details of their destination wedding. We managed all of the travel details for the guests — some upgraded, many extended, and we were happy to help them with all of their requests.
When the wedding day came, everything was simply perfect. The guests gathered as they did every day aound the swim up bar. Laughing and enjoying family and friends. Erin and her bridesmaids spent the day in her suite drinking champagne while doing their hair and make up. Nick and his groomsmen spent their afternoon enjoying the sun with a few drinks poolside. A day filled with no stress and all fun, family, and friends.
The wedding was spectacular, and we are so thankful that not only did we get to help plan it, but we were also able to attend as Nick & Erin’s guests. The wedding gazebo was decorated with amazing tropical flowers, the back drop of the sea was breathtaking, and the awesome Caribbean breeze made the setting absolute perfection.
When the wedding was over and the pictures taken, we enjoyed a fabulous cocktail hour poolside with a mariachi band, tasty appetizers, and plenty of tropical drinks. We were seated for dinner and enjoyed a fabulous dinner as the sun was setting. Dancing and fun continued both poolside and then into the lobby bar and night club. It was absolutely first class every step of the way.
We may be a bit partial to Erin and Nick because they are such an amazing couple. They are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet — both beautiful inside and out. We consider ourselves blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with them and their guests on this important day. We wish them a lifetime of happiness!
